Todd & The Book of Pure Evil Animated Feature Trailer & Limited Release Dates

While I didn't get to work on this one, my current studio Smiley Guys Studios, did. Since they're amazing people, I thought I'd share this with you.

Continuing where the critically acclaimed cult TV series left off, Todd & The Book of Pure Evil: The End of The End: The Animated Feature Film (or TATBOPE: TEOTE: TAFF for short) returns to Crowley Heights to find Todd, Jenny and Curtis grieving the loss of their dear friend Hannah, whose death may or may not have been caused by Todd's banishing of the Book.

Blockstack Summit 2017 Videos

If you're a fan of Silicon Valley (the HBO show), this is the inspiration for season 4's main plot line.

It's also the cutting edge of the future internet. And it's just a few short years away.

Your 'Anonymous' Browsing Data Isn't Actually Anonymous - Motherboard

Shocking and yet not...

The troubling thing about Eckert and Dewes' de-anonymization technique is that it can be used on anyone who has a public social media presence.

"I have this feeling that data brokers don't know what's in the data," Eckert said. "When I made these phone calls to inquire about buying data, they spoke as if they were selling stones or apples. These companies have lost their minds when it comes to data collection."

'Star Wars': Han Solo Film Loses Directors

I've got a bad feeling about this....

"Unfortunately, our vision and process weren’t aligned with our partners on this project," a statement from Lord and Miller read. "We normally aren’t fans of the phrase 'creative differences' but for once this cliché is true. We are really proud of the amazing and world-class work of our cast and crew."

Nickelodeon Sets Voice Cast for Animated Series 'Welcome to the Wayne'

It's been a long, long winding road to get this show done. You could say it's a Wayne phenomenon in itself.

But man, it's going to be one of the best looking shows to hit animation in a very long time.

Series premiere is July 24th.

Congrats the entire crew on a remarkable accomplishment. (No hyperbole need apply.)

Go on an adventure with 3 best friends as they explore their mysterious apartment building, the Wayne. Home to secret spies, flying creatures and hidden rooms, every day in the Wayne brings something new to discover. Join Ansi Molina and Olly & Saraline Timbers - aka Team Timbers - as they uncover it all!

New Mac Malware Discovered on Dark Web: Macrumors

Patrick Wardle via Motherboard:

"But Mac users should just be cautions, should not be not be overconfident, and should not assume that just because they're using a Mac they're inherently safe."

Many good links in the Macrumors article, including the link to Motherboard.

I've recently installed ClamXav and I'm using it full-time. I had only run it about once to twice a year to be sure I wasn't infected by something and nothing was ever found. But with some of the Mac specific vector attacks recently, I decided not to take any chances. I've been running the free trial for about two weeks and it's very unobtrusive, unlike it's Windows counterparts.

A personal licence is now about $42 Canadian (ClamX used to be free) but it's a small price to pay compared to having your computer held hostage or a keylogger getting in there.

(I'm not affiliated with them in anyway. There are other Mac anti-virus apps out there but they seemed to do more harm than good.)
