How Sitting is Affecting Your Health

As an animator, or knowledge worker, we have to keep our sights on the long term affects of our profession(s).

If you're young (under 30) start making changes to your daily routine now. This will, hopefully, save you from chronic pain that'll settle in before you know it...if it hasn't already. If you have chronic pain, it IS reversible in most cases. It's just a change to your daily routine that can have the greatest affect. Also seek out a practitioner of Active Release Technique (A.R.T.). It's saved me from horrible, incapacitating repetitive stress injuries.

If you love what you do but what you do is extremely repetitive it's just a matter of time before it catches up with you. It's a matter of when not if.
