recent CAREER HISTORY
Smiley Guy Studios — July 2017 to March 2018 - Layout and Background Supervisor and Artist
I worked on 2 productions here: Corner Gas Animated as a layout and background artist. But most of my time was dedicated to the Hatchimals web series. I did the layout for the entire show and supervised the background painting. I worked from concepts to solidify the environment for the series and set the style guide. I supervised up to 5 other artists.
Yowza! Animation — February 2016 to July 2017 - Senior Layout Artist
Kind of old school with a heavy dose of the new. Nickelodeon’s Welcome to The Wayne will be a stunner to look at. As a layout artist, I make sense of the storyboards, draw the BG, place characters and field guides, then hand it off to scene planning and BG paint.

For two semesters (and a summer camp) I got to teach second year classical animation.

Character animator on Tom & Jerry, season 2 using Flash CC 2015 and After Effects.
